About us
Based on top of the Mendip Plateau in Somerset, Priddy Construction and Joinery are a small company comprised of skillful and passionate craftsmen.
We offer a complete and personal service, with an emphasis on working with you to create your desired result. We are able to act as a main contractor to project manage to completion, or undertake specialist works of interior finishing and architectural joinery.
The Company is owned and directed by Sam Smith and Charley Robarts-Arnold, who have combined their skills and experience after more than 15 years of independent work within the Construction and Joinery industry.
We look forward to working together to create beautiful homes and spaces in Somerset for many years to come.
CHARLEY ROBARTS-ARNOLD
After a degree in Archeology Charley spent years working in London and the South West of England taking on a wide range of work which all had one thing in common - his passion and ability to problem solve, revive and renovate.
Since settling in Somerset he has set up his own joinery workshop and has spent the last 8 years creating bespoke furniture commissions, full house builds and renovating his own listed property.
He brings into the fold years of diverse site and workshop experience, as well as a sentimental love for all things old and a passion for sustainability.
SAM SMITH
With a background in construction for Film and Television Scenery. I have since worked in many areas of construction for customers at home in Somerset. From flooring, kitchens and bathrooms to large scale renovations, extensions and recently new-build construction.
Working with Charley for the past few years has enabled us to take on more varied and exciting work.
I am proud of our work together so far and look forward to creating more special places in the coming years.
